Forever Learning also collaborates with a number of Notre Dame psychology classes that are studying issues related to aging. This semester, we were excited to host five students as they presented TED-style talks for us on April 19, discussing issues related to aging and nutrition, cognition, memory, and emotional health. Our presenters, Savannah Gregory, Shannon Kasun, Stella Cho, Amy Herrera and Annie Weir provided important information to Forever Learning students thanks to the leadership of Professor Joshua Koen and graduate student Morgan Munsen.
We have also collaborated with Dr. Vanessa Chan as she and her students investigate the effects of age-related hearing loss on cognition and social/emotional health and Dr. Nathan Rose in the Cognitive Neuroscience of Memory & Aging Lab.
Forever Learning Institute is grateful to the many faculty, staff and students of the University of Notre Dame. We look forward to learning together for years to come.
